When maximum fuel system protection, reliability, and uptime matter, the FASS Ultimate Industrial Fuel System Upgrade combines two of our most advanced heavy-duty fuel system technologies into one complete package.

FASS Industrial Series Technology: Your investment lives or dies on productivity, efficiency, uptime, and operating cost. The FASS Industrial Series PLUS protects all four, delivering "Test Cell" fuel conditions in the "Real World." Class 8, agriculture, marine, forestry, airports, military, generators - if it runs on diesel, FASS is there.

FASS Drop-In Technology: Designed as the simplest, most cost-effective solution, the FASS Drop-In Series removes the air and vapor that your engine's fuel pump generates through turbulence. Paired together, these two systems deliver complete air and vapor separation.

Together, these systems are engineered for demanding diesel applications where fuel quality, injector protection, and dependable operation are critical.

The Industrial Series PLUS provides dependable fuel delivery under pressure with:

  • FASS Air/Vapor Separation Technology
  • Extreme Water Separation
  • Continuous Fuel Polishing
  • Microglass 2-Micron Absolute Filtration

Performance Radius Cuts (PRC): Smooth 5/8” internal radius transitions reduce restrictions and promote more efficient fuel flow throughout the system.

Motor & Fuel Pump Facts

FASS Easy Priming
What happens

The FASS pump starts operating when the ignition is switched to ON.

What you get

The FASS integrated fuel pump makes priming effortless. Turn the key ON, give it a moment to prime, and fire it up, typically in under 1 minute.

True Flow Rate Numbers
What happens

FASS rates systems by GPH at operating pressure, on diesel fuel. This is now in our part number - a standard we’re not aware of anyone else in the industry holding to.

What you get

FACT: With FASS, the GPH number is the flow rate on diesel fuel.

High Quality, High Mileage & High Torque
What happens

Home of the 20,000+hr/1,000,000+ mile FASS motor. Under 0.5% failure rate. Nothing in the industry comes close. That is before we added the “Heat Sink” to the motor.

Every FASS system includes a built-in bypass, so in the unlikely event of a failure, your vehicle continues to perform as it did with the factory fuel system

What you get

Dependability + simple and straightforward = PRODUCTIVITY!

Aluminum Motor Heat Sink
What happens

The black anodized aluminum heat sink routinely pulls more than 20°F out of the motor.

What you get

That extends the life of our proven 20,000+hr/1,000,000+ mile motor and adds a clean, upgraded appearance to the system — pushing FASS closer to a 0% failure rate. “Striving for Perfection, Settling for Excellence.”

Whisper Technology
What happens

The quietest motor in the industry, period — at any flow rate and pressure.

What you get

FASS delivers exactly what we state: the flow rate and the pressure your application needs, in our part number. Others slow the flow to quiet the motor and market an “assumed” GPH number that falls short of what you thought you bought.

Patented Air & Vapor Separation - “TIMES” 2

Increases Lubricity to Fuel Injection Components
What happens

At least a 10% gain in fuel lubricity under stationary conditions - and that’s the floor. Agitation begins the moment the engine does, and vehicle motion compounds it. Restricting filters, higher elevation, heated fuel, and lower fuel levels drive air/vapor higher yet. The field calls it “fuel starvation.” Physics calls it entrained air/vapor. Strip it out, and lubricity gains travel well north of 10%.

What you get

The FASS Ultimate Fuel System will “TRIPLE” the life of your fuel injection system - and keep thousands of dollars in your pocket over the long haul.

Optimizes Fuel Efficiency / Horsepower
What happens

Because air and vapor are compressible and fuel is not, they delay fuel entry into the cylinder. Combustion starts late, the burn rate suffers, and the power stroke produces fewer BTUs than it should.

What you get

From the field - FASS optimizes fuel efficiency, with customers consistently reporting gains of 9-11%, coupled with horsepower gains. Semi operators consistently report pulling one full gear (two splits) higher on grades.

True Engine Balancing - Smoother & Quieter Operation
What happens

Air/vapor delays fuel delivery, and it does so inconsistently and unpredictably - throwing the engine out of time. Strip it out, and every cylinder hits its true contribution on every Power Stroke.

What you get

Customers hear it first, then feel it - in the mirrors, in the steering wheel. The engine runs smoother, and less vibration reaches the cab. Less vibration means less stress, and less stress means a longer life.

Consistent Engine Performance with HP Gains
What happens

Diesel engine output depends on a “Precise amount of fuel injected at a Predetermined time. Air/vapor undermines that precision.

What you get

CATERPILLAR rated your engine in a “Test Cell” - clean, non-agitated fuel, positive flow, roughly 10% air in solution. FASS delivers those same conditions in the “Real World” with the air removed, edging performance just past the “Test Cell” rating.

Additional Filtration Protection
What happens

The Drop-In Series provides another high-capacity filtration and air/vapor separation stage for demanding commercial and industrial applications.

What you get

The Industrial Series PLUS delivers virtually pure fuel under pressure to the engine’s OEM fuel delivery/injection pump. Even so, the turbulence inside that pump pulls vapor back out of suspension - a small amount, but enough to matter. The Drop-In Fuel System (DIFS) removes it, adding one final layer of protection before combustion.

Reduces Regens, Soot/Emissions, EGTs, Water/Oil Temps & Oil Consumption
What happens

Shift the fuel timing and you shift the BTUs produced by every power stroke. That single shift ripples outward: how much soot is created, how and when combustion occurs, and how fast heat exits the cylinder as valve and combustion timing drift apart. Even ring seating depends on it.

What you get

Every one of these benefits leads to the same place: COST. FASS reduces maintenance spending across the board, and while that may sound too good to be true, the physics and the customer reports say otherwise.

  • Soot/Emissions: down 18-76.8% - plus reductions across CO, CO₂ and oxides of nitrogen.
  • EGTs (turbo temps): typical stock applications 50-100°F; modified applications 150-200°F+, and more in severe situations.
  • Water/oil temps: reported 15-25°F.
  • Oil consumption: customers have reported reduced oil consumption.

Peace of Mind - “Real” Water Separation

Extreme water separation with the 2-micron absolute microglass fuel filter.

Higher Volume Water Conditions
What happens

Third-party proven to remove over 99% of water. In a major contamination event, traditional and OEM cellulose filters pass water straight through to the fuel injection system - and the damage is catastrophic. The FASS Extreme Water Separator dams the flow instead, stopping that water cold.

What you get

The benefit, simply put: competitors’ filters fill with water, pass that water to the fuel injection system, and you’re looking at catastrophic damage and downtime.

Conventional cellulose filters (OEM/direct competitors) - costly when it counts:
  • Repair or replace the fuel system - are the parts even available?
  • Replace filters and replace fuel - more shop time, more cost.
  • Vehicle sits idle, producing nothing - and where are you, loaded or on vacation?
FASS Extreme Water Separator - engineered exclusively for FASS. Cheap insurance against the alternative:
  • No fuel system repair or replacement.
  • Replace filters and service fuel with FASS filters - that’s it.
  • Vehicle stays working.
2-Micron Absolute Microglass Filter - 30,000-Mile / 5,000-Gallon Life Expectancy
What happens

Competitors and OEMs use cheap cellulose filters with large micron ratings. Ours is 2-micron absolute microglass - 400% more efficient and much higher quality, rated at 1,500 GPH.

What you get

To match a cellulose filter to the capability/efficiency of a microglass element you will need a filter four times the size of filter. Our filter has four times the effective filtration, and catches finer debris along the way.

1st Filter - 144-Micron Stainless Steel Wire Mesh, Serviceable
What happens

Here’s where we “AGAIN” separate from the field. FASS gives fuel a clear, less restricted path to the FASS Fuel Pump, so the pump does its one job without fighting for supply. Competitors rely on older technology that restricts flow and removes only 35.5% of water in third-party testing. PLUS – It’s Serviceable.

What you get

Better flow, less motor noise, less cavitation and a filter you can service. Cellulose restricts flow by design, and restricted flow means a louder, harder-working motor and pump.

Cold Weather & Fuel Conditioning

Extreme Cold Weather Operations
What happens

Start with a 20,000+hr/1,000,000+mile heavy-duty high-torque motor. Add 144-micron stainless steel mesh, 5/8" ball cuts, and a high-efficiency microglass filter rated at 1,500 GPH. That package handles cold weather on its own and with an optional fuel heater kit, it’s in another class entirely.

What you get

Pick the right package and forget about gelling issues.

"I “DROVE” a truck to Tuktoyaktuk - the Arctic Ocean, Northwest Territories, Canada - operating on straight untreated #2 fuel from Mississippi. Parked it outside overnight at -35°F, turned the heaters on from my hotel room with the FASS Connect……it started like it was summer." ~ Brad Ekstam, Founder & President of FASS

Multi-Pass Fuel Polishing
What happens

FASS constantly “Polishes” your diesel by cycling unused fuel back through the FASS filters, so the fuel injection system sees the cleanest fuel possible.

What you get

Fuel the engine doesn't consume cycles back through the filters, getting progressively more "Polished" until it's required by the engine.
